What is the difference between firm, plush, and pillow top?

The main difference between firm, plush, and pillow top is the comfort level. A firm mattress would be considered harder when compared to the surfaces of other mattresses. If you like a mattress that's harder, then a firm mattress may be a good choice. A plush mattress is softer for comfort but has firm support underneath. This is the happy medium between firm and pillow top. A pillow top provides a combination of added softness, comfort, and firmness cradling and supporting you while you sleep. Is a box spring required for all mattresses?

While not all mattresses require the use of a box spring, it is important to note that mattress manufacturers have guidelines in place to ensure your mattress is receiving the proper support to prevent damage. We do recommend purchasing a new box spring and bed frame to ensure your mattress has the proper support and to uphold the manufacturer's warranty on the product. What is the difference between a regular and a low-profile box spring?

Do I have to flip my mattress?

Most modern mattresses should not be flipped. While older mattress models require periodic flipping, newer mattress models are designed in a way that rotating the mattress head to foot every six months will allow for even wear and minimize body impressions. What will void a manufacturer's warranty?

What is your Comfort Exchange Policy?

Accepted Answer

Your comfort matters to us. Because a new mattress can take time to adjust to your body, we require a minimum 30-night adjustment period. If you are still uncomfortable after 30 nights, you may request one comfort exchange within 120 days of the original delivery or pickup date. To qualify: The exchange must be requested by the original purchaser with proof of purchase. The mattress must have been protected from first use with a waterproof mattress protector purchased with the mattress. The mattress must be clean, sanitary, undamaged and have all original law tags attached. Mattresses with stains, odors, pet hair, burns, tears, infestations, improper support or signs of misuse are not eligible. Only one comfort exchange is permitted per original mattress purchase. The original mattress purchase price will be applied toward the replacement mattress. If the replacement costs more, the customer pays the difference and applicable tax. If it costs less, the difference is not refundable. Original delivery, setup and removal charges are nonrefundable. Standard pickup, redelivery and setup charges apply to the replacement. Clearance merchandise, floor models, special orders, custom sizes, adjustable bases, foundations, pillows, protectors and other bedding accessories are not eligible. Manufacturer defects are handled separately under the applicable manufacturer's warranty. This program is a comfort exchange—not a return or refund policy. All exchanges are subject to inspection and approval by Metro Mattress of Georgia.

What is your return policy?

Once merchandise has been delivered or picked up, all sales are final. Metro Mattress of Georgia does not offer returns or cash refunds. Eligible mattresses may qualify for one exchange under our 120-Day Comfort Exchange Policy after the required 30-night adjustment period. Clearance items, floor models, special orders, custom sizes, adjustable bases, foundations, pillows, protectors, accessories, and delivery or setup charges are nonreturnable and nonrefundable. Product defects are handled separately under the applicable manufacturer's warranty. Proof of purchase is required for all exchange and warranty requests.

What is your delivery policy?

Metro Mattress of Georgia offers delivery throughout the Southeast, with local white-glove service across Metro Atlanta, Athens and Northeast Georgia. Same-day or next-day delivery may be available for in-stock merchandise depending on the purchase time, delivery address and route availability. White-glove service includes placement in the selected room, setup of the purchased sleep system and removal of old bedding when arranged in advance. Items being removed must be sanitary and free from stains, infestations or other unsafe conditions. Delivery dates, included services and applicable charges are confirmed before scheduling. Customers must provide a safe, unobstructed delivery path and ensure that an adult is present. Please notify us beforehand about stairs, elevators, gated entrances or other access considerations. Completed delivery, setup and removal charges are nonrefundable. Additional charges may apply if redelivery is required because no authorized adult is present or safe access was not available.
